Description
With the weather getting warmer, you may notice new aches and pains. Whether it's from being out in the garden, riding your bike, or a change in your daily routine, your body could likely use some intentional and targeted release. Fascia is a dynamic network of tissue that weaves through your entire body. It adapts to how you move, hold tension, and experience stress. When it’s supported with the right kind of input, it can soften, rehydrate, and help restore a sense of fluid, connected movement. In this workshop, you’ll learn simple, effective techniques to work with your fascia and release tension so your body can feel more open, supported, and at ease. This 2 hour workshop will have a whole body focus. The group will intentionally be kept small, so there will be ability to ask questions and adapt to the needs of those present. We will use myofascial release techniques, including "ball rolling" and use of other props to release targeted areas in the body. Yin yoga will be interwoven throughout the class for additional fascial hydration and nervous system balance.
