In no way does this company interact with insurance companies, but we are happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for hopeful reimbursement.

How much does therapy cost?

Evaluations cost $150 (Speech and Swallow Evaluations) and $175 (Voice Evaluation). Therapy costs $125 for 45-60 minute sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hour notice for all cancellations when possible. You may be subject to pay the full amount of your session if you cancel within less than 24 hours of your appointment.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to see you?

No, you do not necessarily need a referral from your doctor, but it could be a good idea. You may require additional testing or need to see another kind of doctor (ENT, GI, Allergy) prior to the start of therapy, so having your PCP on board can help make these referrals smoother.

Why do I need to see an ENT for Voice Therapy?

ENT/Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctors, also known as Otolaryngologists, are trained to identify any possible pathology related to your voice. They have endoscopes that visualize your vocal folds and can provide helpful information for our therapy sessions.

What kind of swallow tests will I need?

If you are having swallowing difficulties and have not had some sort of swallowing imaging completed, this will be necessary for therapy. Depending on your specific difficulties, you may require a Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBS) or a Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES). An MBS is a video xray of your swallow while you drink and eat small amounts of barium, a natural mineral. A FEES is an endoscopic visualization of your larynx during eating and drinking. These studies provide invaluable information about your swallowing and allow for us to plan the best therapy modalities to help you reach your goals.
